While I was elected as Ward 2 Alderman back in November of last year, it wasn’t until January 2, 2018, that I sworn in along with Mayor Joyce Craig, my fellow aldermen, members of the Board of School Committee, and ward moderators, clerks, and selectmen.

After the inauguration concluded at the Radisson, the new Board of Mayor and Aldermen held its organizational meeting at City Hall. It was at this time that committee assignments were announced.
My committee assignments are:
Standing Committees
- Finance
- Administration/Information Systems
- Community Improvement
- Public Safety, Health and Traffic
Special Committees
- Airport Activities
- Establishing a Manchester Public Bank
- Riverfront Activities & Baseball
I also received a couple of additional assignments, including:
- Manchester Economic Development Corporation
- Manchester City Library Board of Trustees
The inaugural fun didn’t end on January 2, however. On January 13, I attended with Inaugural Ball with the First Lady of Ward 2, my wife Michelle:
